Coaching

Twelve weeks of one-on-one coaching, built around the life you actually have.

No app. No template. No group chat. One coach who builds your plan, talks to you every week, and adjusts it as your life changes.

Free, no obligation, 30 minutes. We'll talk about where you are and what you want. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you.

The honest part

Most people who want to change their body don't need more information. They already know they should sleep more, eat more protein, and lift something heavy. They've known it for years.

What's missing is someone who builds the specific plan, watches what happens, and changes it when it stops working — every week, for long enough that it sticks.

That's the entire job. That's what this is.

Who this is for

  • You've tried on your own and gotten partway, then stalled
  • You want structure and someone accountable to you, not a PDF
  • You're willing to change one thing at a time and give it three weeks
  • You're a generally healthy adult who can commit to twelve weeks

Who this isn't for

  • You want a quick fix or a specific number by a specific date
  • You want prescriptions, hormones, peptides, or medication guidance — I don't do that, and I'll tell you to see a physician
  • You're looking for treatment for a medical or psychiatric condition
  • You want to be handed a plan and left alone

If you're in that second list, I'll say so on the call rather than take your money.

How the twelve weeks work

Week 0 — Intake (60–90 minutes)
We go through your history, your schedule, your training background, what you eat now, how you sleep, what you've tried, and what actually went wrong. Longer than most intakes because most of the useful information shows up in minute fifty.

Week 1 — Your plan
You get a written plan document: calorie and protein targets, meal structure that fits your real schedule, a training program for the equipment you actually have, and sleep and daily-movement targets. Yours to keep, permanently, whatever happens after.

Weeks 1–12 — Weekly calls
A 30-minute call every week. You fill out a short check-in form beforehand so we spend the call solving problems instead of gathering data. We change one thing at a time. Nothing gets added until the last thing holds.

Between calls
Text me. Questions about a restaurant menu, a workout that felt wrong, a week that went sideways. Answered same or next business day.

Also included
A "questions for your doctor" sheet — a plain-language summary you can hand to your physician so their input and mine point the same direction.

About your coach

I'm Joshua Rao. I hold a B.S. in Exercise and Health Sciences from Virginia Tech with a minor in psychology, and I've spent the last six years studying nutrition, training, and metabolic physiology well past what the degree required.

I work as a health coach. I'm not a physician or a dietitian, and I don't diagnose or treat anything. What I do is translate the science into something you can actually run on a Tuesday when work went badly and you didn't sleep.

I take a small number of clients at a time because the weekly attention is the product.

Something specific instead?

If you want a single consultation, a plan review, or something outside the twelve-week program, email contact@metricverify.com and I'll send an invoice for exactly that.

Questions

Do I have to commit to twelve weeks?
Yes, and that's deliberate. Behavior change that survives a bad week takes longer than four. If twelve weeks feels like too big a jump, that's worth saying on the call — it's the most common honest reason people hesitate, and it's not a reason to be embarrassed.

What if I don't like it?
Tell me on week two and we change the approach. The plan is not the point; you getting somewhere is the point. Months already paid aren't refundable, but I'd rather fix it than have you quietly stop showing up.

Can you tell me what supplements to take?
I can talk with you about ordinary over-the-counter products like creatine or protein, used as labeled. I can't and won't advise on prescriptions, hormones, or anything requiring a physician.

Can you look at my bloodwork?
No. I don't interpret lab results — that's your physician's job. I will help you write down good questions to ask them.

Do you guarantee results?
No, and nobody honest does. What I guarantee is that I show up every week, that the plan is built for your actual life, and that I'll tell you the truth about what's working.

What if I have a medical condition?
Get clearance from your physician first, and tell me about it at intake. Some situations belong with a licensed provider, and I'll refer you rather than coach around them.
